Important note
The CAD Creator is not supplied with the SIZER for Siemens Drives since V3.6. To use the CAD functionality, you must install the CAD Creator (V1.7.1 or later) on your PC. More information about the download is provided at www.siemens.de/Cad-creator.

The SIZER can be used free of charge. A nominal fee is charged when ordering the DVD. No license key is required when using the DVD. For licensing reasons, you should nevertheless have acquired a SIZER license certificate (any version). If this is not the case, you can order the current SIZER version including license certificate on DVD (Order number: 6SL3070-0AA00-0AG0).

The following installation variants are provided:

• Install the SIZER withoutdimension sheet generators
  • Download the zip file "SIZER_V310.zip", unpack it and then start the program setup.exe.
    Important note: The dimension drawing generators must be deactivated in the setting "Custom" on the dialog page "setup type" of the setup.

• Install the SIZER withthe dimension sheet generator CAD Generator (for standard induction motors)
  • Download and unpack the zip file “SIZER_V310.zip“.
  • Then download the zip file "SIZER_V310_CAD.zip". This zip file contains the file "Data2.cab". This file must be copied resp. unpacked into the subdirectory ...\SIZER after unpacking the zip file "SIZER_V310.zip". Then the file "Data2.cab" must be located in the same directory as the file "Data1.cab". The dimension drawing generators are preset in the setup.
  • Start the program setup.exe in the highest level directory.
    Note: The dimension drawing generators can also be reinstalled via this procedure.
